That said, she has a very blunt and honest personality. She will tell you that you're a bitch to your face and will do so without hesitation.

She has holes in her memory. It's a touchy subject for her and is also why she's obsessed with journaling and snapping physical photos of events and her friends.

That being said, she (along with the rest of Ramshackle) is only part of the Newspaper Club because Crowley basically forced her to take it up.

Unashamed of using underhanded tricks to get her way. She doesn't fully remember it, but she does know that she used to have to do that a lot just to scrape by in the past. Her favorite thing to do is use her small stature to her advantage, weaving between her opponents and going for the kneecaps 😇

Has older sister vibes, but specifically the older sister vibes that mean she's going to bully you (lovingly, ofc). Ace is her main victim because he makes it easy and honestly it's what he deserves <3 Ace always accuses her of favoritism since she's always nice to Deuce, but Micah's reply is always just something like "I'm not playing favorites, you all just suck compared to Deuce" as if it's the most logical answer.

Claims she's sick of fixing everyone's problems but that's a lie. She's a bit of a busybody who can't stand seeing people genuinely hurting. She will help you, and that is a threat. I mean, she'll complain all the while, but will still solve your problems head on anyways—though she expects you to do the same for her in the future, should she ever need the help.

She didn't realize it was an all boys' school until ADeuce brings it up in the cafeteria, where she then realized everyone thought she was a guy. She didn't know how to explain that she was not, in fact, a dude, and also she thought it would be really funny to Haruhi Fujioka her way through it. Shenanigans ensue.

The space buns work on anime logic. They fit underneath the hat and move back into perfect place when it's removed

She's not actually magicless, but she didn't know about it until Riddle's Overblot. No one really knows how her magic works & it's SUPER circumstantial, so she doesn't have full control of it quite yet.

She makes up for her lack of consistent magic with her sharp wits, resourcefulness, and the amazing power known as extreme physical violence. Most of the canon divergences are a result of her going "ok. screw it" and either clocking someone in the face or bodily tackling them to the ground. NRC learns very quickly that although she's "magicless", she isn't completely defenseless.

She's the kind of person who doesn't mind buying new stuff for others but when it comes to herself, she can subconsciously be quite frugal and cheap. For her, so long as it works, she'll use something up until it becomes more of an inconvenience to not get it replaced. Hence why her uniforms are still oversized, hand-me-downs, worn out, and/or patched up despite the fact that she can probably get a better-fitting one by now. At least it means she's good at mending things!

Also because Crowley does not nearly give her enough allowance she takes advantage of any coupons and discounts she can. She and Deuce are constantly keeping each other updated on any new limited-time sales and bargains

She's the kind of person who always seems to be busy doing something if she isn't actively spending her time with someone else. Be it repairing Ramshackle or doing some budgeting for supplies to fix up Ramshackle or making sure Grim doesn't blow a hole through the walls of Ramshackle...you know maybe this is just a "trying to make sure Ramshackle doesn't fall apart" thing...

She's an OC I've had for years and just insert into every new interest I get into

Rich girl™ from one of the most prominent magical families back in her original world.

She's really good at drawing realistically, as long as she has a good reference! It's due to practice from going out and drawing in her personal grimoire a bunch of plants she can use as magical ingredients.

She has three older biological siblings and one younger (albeit only by a few months) adopted brother. The Boulregard Family is VERY large in general too, so she has quite a bit of cousins & distant relatives

She has magic, but it's different than Twisted Wonderland's as she comes from a different world. While she doesn't accumulate Blot, she can still experience magical exhaustion and other drawbacks, not to mention certain circumstances that happened when she was very young caused her life to literally be at risk if her magic were to ever be cut off or completely drained.

But it's ok because she has an insane magic pool to draw from as well as many magical familiars who help her

In fact, she has so much magic that she often imbues the excess into other objects which she then gives to her dormmates for them to use "in case of emergencies". In fact, all of the jewelry she wears are actually her own backup reserves so she doesn't expend ALL of her magic!

She excels in magic across the board, but her main specialty is as a "Spirit Summoner" which, as the name implies, are those who summon familiars to aid them. While Spirit Summoners from her world usually only have around 1-3 familiars, Ascian is considered a prodigy due to the fact that she can summon familiars ranging in the double digits (but this is tied directly to why she has such a large pool of magic & why she literally can't live without it, so it was a give and take situation)

Her main familiar is a fire daemon sort of spirit named Calcifer, who has a humanoid form and a cat-like form. He and Grim do NOT get along and Ascian finds this funny (chronic cat lover). Calcifer was an old friend of Ascian's late aunt, whose last request of him when she was dying was to look after and guide her, at the time, sickly infant niece. So Calcifer acts as a mentor/guardian figure to Ascian, and now by extension the rest of Ramshackle!

She's actually been trained to deal with life & death situations & legitimately thought that Overblots were like. Part of the school's curriculum as a pop quiz in combat or something HELPDSFHAJKA

Also she has a big-ass scythe that she uses and she is deadly with it

Ascian has been to other worlds before! Perks of being a prodigy of summoning familiars and spirits from different planes and realms of existence (that, and exploring new places is one of her favorite hobbies). This is just the first time it's been involuntary and that she doesn't immediately know the way home, but she's not too worried fjjsjdjsklw.

Though she latched onto her dormmates pretty quickly, she's actually quite hard to get close to. It's a result of her upbringing, where people would often try to befriend her and her family solely for the benefits it would bring. Her loyalty is usually hard-earned—but once you have it, you'll likely have it for life. Her intense loyalty is both her greatest strength and biggest weakness.

She and Leona actually have a lot of similarities but they absolutely HATE each other's asses and get EXTREMELY petty about it, to the point where Micah or one of the others has to intervene before they make Ramshackle even MORE destroyed.

She really doesn't mind what people call her! People use Yume-Winry, Yume, Winry, YW, Winnie, etc.

She constantly has this sort of airy, absentminded demeanor, like she isn't fully paying attention or is about to doze off, but she's a lot more aware of her surroundings than she lets on.

She and Micah "knew each other" in the past, but beyond that nothing is known about Winry. She always gives non-answers when asked too, so no one knows if she also doesn't remember her past like Micah, or if she's just being evasive on purpose (Micah suspects the latter with each new interaction Winry has with Azul, though)

She technically arrived at Twisted Wonderland at the same time as Micah and Yuuken, but at RSA instead. After seeing Micah in the Magift Tournament in October, she was like "guess I'm transferring to NRC ¯\(ツ)/¯" and did so after winter break by fanning Crowley's ego, as one does.

Her tone is the embodiment of 😊 but lowkey half of what she says is just fighting words, like...    Random NRC student: "what the hell are you looking at?"  |  Winry, in her airy voice that makes it seem like she's not fully aware of anything: "definitely not your hideous hairstyle 😊 Have you seen a barber lately? 😊 if yes I think you should find a new one 😊"  |  Random NRC student, choking up: _"ok."

please understand that she did not end up at RSA because she's a good or Disney-princess-like person. It was a complete accident. Her arrival in twst may have had some deeper meaning behind it but her enrollment into RSA sure as hell didn't.

Like yeah ok she's kind and helpful but that's only consistent with Ramshackle. Everyone else is a toss-up on how nice she's feeling that day and if they approached first, but even then she can be blunt and/or rude with her words. She has zero tact or filter and WILL say what's on her mind. She can be such a hater but no one realizes this because she always has such a pleasant and airy smile on her face that they think they just misheard. She's perfect for NRC.

Like I cannot emphasize how much she actually does not care for RSA. For Yume Winry it's just...    Micah: "hey what was RSA like? I bet it must be better than this shitshow of a school haha"  |  Winry: "Actually I prefer it here in NRC. RSA students are always breaking out into song whenever something happens and quite frankly that's horrifying. NRC has fistfights and petty revenge, and that's so valid of them, actually."  |  Micah: "what"  |  Winry: "honey or sugar?😊"

NRC is better because 1) it has Micah and 2) people get into fights daily and Winry can watch the insults being hurled between the two parties. That's it that's the entire reason why Winry wanted to transfer over to NRC (I love RSA please don't misunderstand, I just think Winry is so funny for this)

Her best subject is History of Magic SOLELY because she's on the hunt for honey

Her room is filled with plush animals. Kimi makes them as a side hobby and gives her duds or whatever she doesn't sell to Winry, who takes good care of them.

While she can be very wise, she also says some of the strangest things, even for the people of TWST. Micah is half convinced Winry's doing this on purpose (she is).

The cold makes her sleepy, but she prefers it over the heat

The "I was isekai'd into my favorite video game but am doomed to follow the narrative no matter how hard I try to divert it, except there are apparently ✨~canon divergences~✨, and more than just one main character, and I also appear later in the game's story line instead of at the very beginning?!" MC. If any of that makes sense. do you see it. do you see the vision.

She has SO many mixed feelings about being stuck in TWST because on one hand all of her oshis are here and she can actually befriend them but also ALL OF HER OSHIS ARE HERE OH GOD DONT MESS UP DONT EMBARRASS YOURSELF DONT-

She's a HUGE fangirl and particularly was very fond of Malleus, Kalim, and Adeuce. Not that she will EVER tell Ace because just because you like a fictional character doesn't mean you would actually get along with them IRL, and unfortunately for Kimi, Ace is a goddamn MENACE.

She was an EN player who finished Book 5 but at the time Book 6 wasn't released yet. But!! She is rightfully terrified most of Book 7!

She has a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for Micah because she recognizes her as the "true" MC, what with her being the one involved with every major story beat.

She's very enthusiastic about helping others, though she can be a little too into it at times and as a result not actually be all too helpful, leaving Micah and/or Rory to reluctantly clean up whatever mess there is (because unfortunately, they are both very fond of Kimi)

She's under some sort of spell that prevents her from ever even HINTING at the fact that this is a game and she knows what will happen. She does her best to stop Overblots from happening regardless, but is unsuccessful. She thinks it's because she's doomed by the narrative but the truth is that she's just a huge a little bit of a girlfailure who overcomplicates things to the point of achieving nothing or even just making things worse. Rory feels bad though, so she doesn't tell her that.

Speaking of Rory, Kimi came here with her "BFF in the whole wide world 🥰" and drags her into trying to change the narrative. She knows Rory's never played TWST before but she believes that with the number of times she's gushed about the game, she's practically played it, right? (Rory doesn't have the heart to tell her that she's kinda just pulling shit out of her ass because while Kimi DOES rant about the game a lot, most of it is completely incomprehensible to Rory because Kimi is TERRIBLE at explaining anything plot-related, and now that the two of them are under that spell that prevents them from actually discussing the events, it's not like she can even ask anyways).

Anyhow. She was super big into cosplays, and that eventually led to an interest in fashion. She's the one who designed and put together most parts of Ramshackle's dorm uniforms, and personally tailored both her and Rory's school uniforms! If the less fashion-savvy dorm members (Ascian, Micah) look good, it's probably Kimi's doing

She has a super low spice tolerance and avoids spicy foods like the plague

But yes, she knows about TWST and has a very vague knowledge of the game, but it's SO barebones since it comes secondhand from Kimi's bad explanations that Rory is practically going in blind.

She's Kimi's longsuffering friend who kinda just lets her do whatever and just resigns herself to doing damage control

Rory has an excellent eye for literary analysis and analyzing her situation in an objective light, but beyond that her intelligence and other skills are average across the board.

She's the only one in Ramshackle who joined the Newspaper Club out of an actual interest of the club's activities (everyone else did so either because Crowley basically shoved them into it or out of solidarity for the ones that were)

Of all the Ramshackle residents, I'd say that Rory is the most "normal" one among them

Well she's a bit of a girlfailure herself but Kimi is just so much worse that it kinda makes Rory seem well-adjusted in comparison.

Her knowledge that everything is a game and that the plot is, apparently, staying on track makes her a bit passive and unconcerned about the things that happen around her. Her logic is that "This is the type of game that cannot have a tragic ending, so therefore everything will be resolved." But this makes her act detached from the world around her, seeing it all as "fiction", and this unnerves some of her classmates and even fellow dormmates. She eventually learns to accept the world around her as "real", but some habits die hard.

That said, she can be fussy and a bit of a mother hen toward her friends whenever she isn't acting detached

Beyond that, when it comes to helping others she doesn't mind if it's simple and/or not troublesome, but for the most part, she tries to stay out of drama and possible "event flags"...which is difficult when Kimi seems insistent on dragging her into them all the time.
